BBHP pedal meets Tilton 74-100U..

Well, I knew I was taking a little gamble getting the Weir Racing bellhousing, hydraulic throwout bearing, and master cylinder.   But I didn't think the Tilton master cylinder, which is a full 1 inch bore, 1 1/4 inch stroke cylinder, would be so easy to adapt to Josh's "NASCAR One-off" pedal assembly.

See for yourself.   My buddies Ed and Joey at HP Racecraft  did the welding..

The cylinder, a Tilton 74-100U, about $70 at many places on the Internet

Here it is from the side, after jigging it up and welding it.   The jig brackets

were good steel hardware brackets, so we just used them to weld.   Got these at

an Ace Hardware, they are galvanized, but they still welded okay...

This is the BBHP pedal assy looking at it from the side.

A good solid pedal ADJUSTABLE stop, hex cap screw for bottom, jam bolt from the top.

The 3/8 x 18 'rod connector nut' welded to the pedal is available at good fastener shops.

A couple of good through G8 bolts with some steel spacers and washers, and this

thing fits like a glove, and doesn't BUDGE in the bracket.

Only two clearance issues, the cylinder needed a little more breathing

room to the right, at the bottom.   A die grinder made fast work of that.

Only other small 'mod' was to the stock Tilton cylinder, cut off an ear !!

( The missing ear no longer interferes with the pedal stop )
